Joss Whedon, der Schöpfer von Buffy the Vampire Slayer und Firefly, arbeitet bekanntlich an einer Verfilmung von Wonder Woman. Oder wie? Folgendes findet sich heute auf Whedonesque, Whedons "offizieller Site" (o.s.ä.):You (hopefully) heard it here first: I'm no longer slated to make Wonder Woman. What? But how? My chest... so tight! Okay, stay calm and I'll explain as best I can. It's pretty complicated, so bear with me. I had a take on the film that, well, nobody liked. Hey, not that complicated.Und weiter:
I'm as relieved as I am disappointed, and both of those things lead to drink, so that's a plus.
Nun war ich nie ein Wonder Woman-Fan, wie ich überhaupt das meiste des DC-Universums für hochgradig albern halte (zugegeben, daß ist bei Marvel ebenso, aber da ist's wenigstens nicht ganz so lächerlich), doch wenn irgendwer WW verfilmen könnte, wäre das Whedon. So bleibt nur zu hoffen, daß das ganze Projekt nun den Weg allen Irdischen geht.
Darauf trink ich.
